OXYMORONS
AN OXYMORON is a combination of words that are contradictory
or incongruous. Some examples: act naturally, resident alien, minor miracle,
giant shrimp. Wait! Giant shrimp is not an oxymoron. (This leads
into an essay on short males in our society).
AN ESSAY ON "HANDS"
"Shame on you! Wash your hands!" wrote the New York Times.
It reminds me of a story. PLUS: Being left-handed. An event in natural
